Control Relay for external lighting
« on: February 13, 2010, 06:49:25 pm »
Hi, this is my first post on the forum, and sorry for my english, I m a french users.
I have a old pluto server and I decide to upgrade to linuxmce and add functionality.

I have search on the forum but I don't find a solution of my problem.

My Problem : I have high power relays to control my exterior lighting ( 14 x sodium 300w lamp ).

My relay accept 12v or 24v to make the contact but it's just a pulse.
One pulse the relay go to one and one pulse and the relay go back to off.

I want to control 6 relays.

I see different product to make this :

Merten have an all in one product with the EIB/KNX (It s very expensive and I m not sure it's very easy to install it),
or change my relays by x10 AD10 modules but I don't know if they will work long time with a high power (AD10 support 3600watts max),
or put a usb relays card like velleman or other generic relays card and in this case I don't know if it's very simple to manage it on linuxmce.

Thanks for you help.
Marc
