Hello Andrew,

would you (or Radu), mind using the DeviceTemplate exporter to export your definition so we can have that device template in the 810 db as well?

Thanks

Well, as we should have the bash style packages as well, it should be helpful for us as well, shouldn't it?

We think so. But then in the past you guys didn't seem very interested in our bash code :-)

There are people who make fun of the bash stuff. But there are also people who like choices introduced by the bash code

If you find someone with a Denon amp that he can connect to a LMCE machine, I'll help update your current Denon template so it uses my bash code instead of the ruby code. Thing is, I don't want to break the Denon template blindly in 0810. If I break it, I'd like to do so with a working system.

Re-Conditioned Media Managers for as little as £120 UKP!
« Reply #53 on: January 04, 2010, 03:06:37 pm »
To kick off 2010 we have a limited stock of 'customer upgrade' ASUS Eee Box b202 machines (ie where customers have traded these units in for new hardware). The units in 'as good as new' condition (we provide a 60 day 'return to base' warranty on these units) and have the following spec; 1 GB RAM - 1.6 GHz ATOM processor - 160 GB HDD, desk stand, VESA mounting kit, wired mouse/keyboard & a Windows XP License (white finish).

We are making these available for £120 UKP + VAT (if your in the EC) + shipping to LinuxMCE forum members. So if your after a compact low energy, rear mountable Media Director at a super low price these may be what your looking for.

PM me if your interested in these units.

Happy New Year!

A number of you have asked about pricing for multiple B202 units - if you buy 4 units or more we will offer them to you for £100 UKP + Shipping/VAT. All units must be paid for in a single transaction to qualify for this discount.

All the best

New Support for nVidia GT210/GT220/GT240
« Reply #57 on: February 17, 2010, 10:37:20 am »
Dianemo now supports the new high performance nVidia GT210/220/240 graphics cards as standard - this now includes audio over the HDMI port using the cards onboard audio processor (no audio inject header connection from the motherboard is required with these cards now). These cards support improved image quality, colour saturation and better de-interlacers when used with vdpau.

Post here or PM me if you have any questions on the above.

All the best

Cascade & Dianemo now support SoftAudio outputs ie Squeezeslave - this is a soft Squeezebox. Create as many audio Zones as you have sound cards for...supports USB/PCI audio cards, add them to MM's & your NC. Add 2,3,4 or more Audio zones by attaching low cost USB audio adapters to your MM's (tested with 6 x USB Audio cards & ripped DVD streaming from NC on a single Acer Revo). Full setup/admin capability provided from Wed Admin to create/edit manage SoftAudio outputs.

Now supports USB SoftAudio outputs upto 25m from the Media Manager or NerveCentre using USB-CAT5e adapters - this adds a lot of flexibility as to how/where you locate the SoftAudio outputs. Tuck them discretely behind an existing Audio System or use them to drive powered in-ceiling speakers are just two of the many possibilities.

All the best
