@ barrydocks,
Not doubting the usefulness of any of that information ... It just never occurred to me that having the labels correct would be of any importance. That said, I'm not a classical music fan, and Rock albums very often list the venue in the title (i.e.: Cheap Trick: Live at Budokan).
BTW, tried XBMC,... nice, and flashy, but it screwed up the Meta data searches on my vids just as bad as any others. Plus, if I was going to use it, I wanted it to use VLC as the video display engine. Changing that in it was like doing minor surgery. Also, not nearly as much in terms of home automation or telephony available on that platform. And forget about DVR/PVR/Live TV integration ... just experimental in XBMC. Nice concepts for a UI though, just needed to be more versatile.
I can't make you promises, but I'll do what I can to help you through the install... I just need to know your Linux experience, what your hardware is, what version of LinuxMCE you're installing (Version, DVD or net install?), ... that sort of thing. Not like I'm particularly a LinuxMCE expert or anything, but I've been around Linux, and install issues for a little more than a decade.
