Check what asterisk version is installed. I am (on 1404) the asterisk version 11.

Also, I have a mix of Ubuntu versions. My MD is running 1604, but the core stays at 1404 aka never-touch-a-running-system

We are battling quite a bit with changes in MySQL and PHP which affect mainly the web admin, which is a huge issue.

Clear your cookies and see if it helps.

Apart from the JSON Plugin (see wiki), I've added a new provider for JSON data from LinuxMCE to the outside world.

In case anyone out there wants to read their LinuxMCE data from a browser frontend or similar, have a look at https://github.com/posde/json

Go 1404 - 1004 is not really supported without a bunch of changes. For one, you need to amend the sources.list to reference the archive.ubuntu.com URL instead of the one that originally had been used. If you have URLs that are not pointed to Ubuntu, let me know which, and I'll check what's going on with them.

But the real solution is to use 1404 instead.

For your information: qOrbiter was developed using QtCreator - I am fairly sure there are some debug abilities with that already setup.

Just check it out, and see if it works like you want it to work. VLC Player itself IS in the repo and I am using it as my primary video player.

Nice to see you found out what's wrong. I am sure there are some settings for the 4.4 that will fix the heat issues as well, but if the 3.x is working, why not keep it
