Hi.

I can't find the information anywhere.

On the plutohome page at http://plutohome.com/

They show a tablet, and for that matter a nokia phone, yet I don't see the model numbers anywhere.

One of the worst things about this site is the lack of information about items that actually work with plutohome.

It's like pulling teeth !!!

And it's getting pretty annoying.

Can ANYONE actually give a list of media players and orbiters that actually work, or help by updating the hardware list.

do don't sell these products. our dealers will do that.
about the phones, can be any symbian series 60, any windows mobile 2003 and we're implementing these days windows mobile 2005.
we'll add support for nokia 770 and blackberries.
about the tablets, we're using dtresearch.com products with wince and winxp, but again we don't sell them.

Yes, but you don't have any dealers, well none listed anyway.

I suppose we have to wait for monster then. I hope the thin-client/media player will have all the outputs (composite, s, component, DVI, HDMI) and will also have 6 IR and 2 serial. It would be better to have it all-in-one instead of having to buy separate items.

What encoder (Digital to Analogue) and video chipset/card are you using in the media player ?

I know the model # of the pad = WebDT 366

But what is the model number of the nokia phone ?

No...the 6620 isn't a flip/clamshell phone.

Is that picture even of a real phone ? or is it one of those 'made up for publicity' pictures ?

I haven't seen any nokia with buttons on the lcd display half.

OK - nokia usa didn't recognize it because it wasn't released here. People have brought it over or imported and sold it.

It's a Tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900

The US is Tri-band GSM 850/1800/1900 - 850MHz has better distance so they are swinging for that.

I know that at the moment there are symbian 60 series, windows mobile 2003 and windows mobile 2005 working.

Being a home user/enthusiast, the main problem is finding a workable remote/orbiter that is identical for the Three rooms/TV's in the house. Basically it means they should be the same at the 'other half' does not like button/visual changes.

Like at the moment. We have a remote for the x-10, another one for insteon, the master bedroom has a remote for the HDTV, one for the yamaha DVD/6:1 audio system, one for the DVD player, one for the VHS tape system, one for the TV in the kitchen, one for the TV in the lounge, another for the CD/Audio in the lounge, one for the DVD in the lounge, one for the VHS system in the lounge/

What is that now (I've lost count), 11 controllers ?

As I said, I/we need one identical type cellphone x 3 - $300+ for a controller is not good - it would also be good if this doubled as a workable cellphone, then we could cary (clip) the cellphone to our belts and be in control from one device around the house.

Hopefully pluto/monster are thinking of this. If you want to be successful then major sales and reasonable prices are needed.

can you please provide a reasonable list or workable cellphones that can fulfill the orbiter function in the USA, not just as bluetooth, but also as a cell.

i don't understand your point.
i said earlier that we support any type of mobile phone with bluetooth and with operating system: symbian series 60, windows mobile 2003 and 2005.
you can find a list with series 60 hones here: http://www.s60.com/life/s60phones

one mobile phone can control everything in your house since the bluetooth commands are routed to devices, the mobile phone doesn't interact at all with devices.

the mobile phone device is at your choice, we don't say that you have to buy the 6260 phone from our pictures, that was only for advertising.
