Gyration remote is not working as it should anymore after 0810 beta update

Hi,

After updating to the latest 0810 beta the remote worked in my updated MD. But now after a couple of days it suddently works strangly. The info key is play/pause and the up key is down. Other keys are not doing anything at all. Those not working keys are also not turning on the light on the USB key in the MD.

Any idea what I can do to get it working again ?

Already tried removing the USB key and adding it again after 10 sec. pause. did not help.
also tried inserting new battaries in the remote and doing above again. did also not help


In an MD that i regenerated and updated with apt-get dist-upgrade it did also not work.

Just tried to restore the old version of the MD, but the gyration does still not work
But that might have to do with the core that is still the new one.

Another issue is that in the orbiter (Myth)TV does not show the current program on the updated MD. The now restored MD shows the corrrect program information. Also the up and down keys are missing in the TV orbiter on the updated version of the MD.

if you remove the USB key, you'll need to quick reload the router, so the orbiter will restart. The Generic HID code only scans for devices when Orbiter starts.

thanks for your feedback

unfortunatly it does not change anything. The keys still work differently as they should. The up key moves on line down in the UI (as an example in the media selection). The down key does nothing at all.

The keys that are not doing anything at all are also not turning on the "wireless communication light" above the power button when I press them. The remote somehow is reacting very strange. I hope it is not broken

any idea what to try next ?
Is there a log or something that i could consult ?

Yes, that was one of the first things i tried because I thoght that it could be the problem.

Interesting enough the connect button on the remote also does not work At least if I activate connecting on the USB stick it starts blinking,  but the connect button on the remote does not get the green light on the usb stick to light up. It just stops blinking after some time. But the remote continues to work like before.


Can one somehow reset the remote ?
