« on: October 23, 2009, 02:26:47 pm »
Just a quick note for UK users with dvb-t reception.

This device is on offer for a few days for £24.99 at maplin.co.uk. Offer ends 27th October 2009. Sadly, I just paid £40 for mine!

By the way...

If you planning to use the 399U with 0810 then you will need a different v4l deb... the on linked to on the Wiki is for 0710's kernel only. PM with your email address if you want to try our 'testing' universal v4l package that supports this tuner.

All the best

I bought mine for around £40 from ebuyer, and to be honest I would much prefer the peace of mind of being able to have them replaced if they ever go wrong under the ebuyer guarantee. My experience in the past is that Maplin won't be that helpful with respect to returns.

That is a fantastic price though, thanks for the info.
