Creeping Load Average on 810 Hybrid Core
« on: June 15, 2009, 10:23:18 pm »
Ok,

So I've been using my Core as a hybrid orbiter for a few weeks now and have noticed some "jumpy" video issues.  This is when I am playing directly from a DVD or through Flash.  I have been doing a top and can see that over time the load averages are slowly climbing higher and higher.  So far the highest load average I have seen is 17.97, which is a little high for my current hardware.  I'm wondering if there is a way to troubleshoot this issue, or if other users have had similar issues.  I have yet to find anything in the forum.  I'm also wondering if this issue could be hardware related.  Currently my hybrid core is running on the following hardware:

ASUS A8N-Delux Motherboard
AMD X2 3800+
2 GB RAM
1.5 TB HD
GeForce 8800 GT

I don't think I had these issues when running 710, but I could be wrong.  Any help would be appreciated.  I can get additional information from the system if needed.

Thanks!

I have twice now had DCERouter try to take over the cpu. I do not know what is causing it but it never happened until the last couple days.
