Network security of the Gateway

I apologize for somewhat a double post, but I'm not sure where to direct this question.

I created same topic as this one under "DCErouter", regarding some security concerns of the external facing services.

I can't find any information on the security of the PHP code in the pluto-admin web interface.  Since this gateway will interface with the outside world then what are the possibilities of someone hacking the box?

Question for the moderator:  Should I leave this topic here or use the Developer forum of DCErouter?
