GURUS..

is this model any good?

my purpose is to integrate DVB-T for now.. DVB-S for near future (i.e. when i get a new dish) and also be able to integrate my third party set top box into the system (SKY Set top BOX)..

please advice?

I am not sure, that the device has a DVB-T tuner at all. afaict it is DVB-S only http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-NOVA-S-Plus

Glad to have saved you some trouble. To check, whether a given card works under Linux, I always check first on the LinuxTV wiki. Very helpful site.
