After setting up LinuxMCE on my PC, to test it, i got some questions:
1. Is there an easy way to adjust the menu. I only need the Media part so i would like to hide the other buttons.

2.Does Linux MCE work with a Sony Ericson w580i? Probably not, or?

(I have used the 7.10 DVD.iso)

In answer to your first question... no there is no way to simply hide everything in the menu bar apart from Media. Why would you want to do that? LinuxMCE is full blown whole house home automation system... presumably thats what your looking for otherwise why choose LinuxMCE?

The Sony Ericsson W580i would probably work fine with the JavaMo Orbiter - but I have no direct experience of running the JavaMO on that handset.

Why would you want to do that?

I want to hide these things because i can't use it , but i still want to use the MediaCenter part of Linux MCE so i would like to hide other buttons and show only the media button. So you think i should use another software like mythTV if i only want the media part?!?

Try Mythbuntu in your case, if you only need HTPC...
