Got my Asus eee box booting but the video wouldn't work in any resolution except 640x480.

After some forum requests I was told that the xorg.conf for the MD needed to be changed from Driver "vesa" to Driver "intel", however, now it boots to a black screen.

Could you post the xorg.conf you have working with the eee box?

Thanks,

Dale

Hi Dale,

I have attached an xorg.conf from one of our ASUS Eee Box's... this MD is setup and running well at 720p DVI

I will add a wiki page explaining how to config the Eee Box in the next couple of days.

In the meantime I hope the attached xorg.conf helps you.

All the best

Andrew

Andrew:

Let me start by saying thanks for all that you have contributed to the commuity in working with the Asus Eee box.  I have been fighting with one of these on and off for about a week now and your post and wiki entrys have been very helpful.

To that end, I was wondering if you had had a chance to write the wiki page regarding configuring the Eee and if could you provide a some guidance as to how to change the xorg.conf file to support 1080i resolutions you described in a diffrent post.

Thanks...
