Hi...

I just tried to install linux mce. Well, I got the black screen tried to press '1' for 15 sec. and voila - there was the AV/Wizard. There was just one problem. I had 6 screens on my screen (know what I mean? I saw the desktop 6 times on my pc). Although I was able to finish the wizard the problem continued to exist... Right now I'm about to finish the following basic configuration and lmce ist downloading some libraries, but I'm afraid, that I will see the 6 screens when I restart.

Anyone ever had this kind of bug?

My System: Laptop 2,4 GH with NVIDIA GEFORCE 8600M GT...

Yes, saw the six screens again.

When I tried to install the latest driver (with just the Kubuntu installation), that I found for my card (from the year 2007), some messages appeared, that a new kerner must installed by the program. Well I prompted another error came up.
