Going to buy new mobo
« on: November 11, 2008, 06:28:33 pm »
Hey guys, I've been having lockup problems and decided to try a new mobo.  I was looking on the wiki for user builds, but couldn't seem to find them.  So, I have an either/or question.

1.) Can anyone point me towards some know-to-work mobos?  (Just needs to support regular old P4 @800fsb)

2.) Where are the user builds on the wiki?  You know, where they post their builds and how they worked?

I found this motherboard and wondered if anyone could tell if this would do the job.

Well, I can say that that motherboard works well.  The analog audio works, but the surround sound channels are muted by default.  I have to goto into KDE desktop and unmute the channels.  I'm going to start a new thread about this.  No hard lock-ups though. :)
