Two input questions..

In moving a TV from a MD to the core/md I was forced to switch from the VGA to DVI/HDMI.  The problem is the TV has semi-discrete buttons for the inputs which I configured as discrete, one button for the one RGB (svga) input, one button for the 2 HDMI inputs, etc.  A few seconds after LMCE boots up on HDMI 1, it switches to the second HDMI input.  Wasn't an issue with RGB, as it only has one RGB input.  I'm leery of changing the device to non-discrete input, no idea what will happen with the multiple configured input buttons.  What is the best way to handle this? 



When I'm watching live TV via LMCE and select "direct A/V" or when I'm watching TV via direct A/V then bring up a LMCE menu, it takes a good 7-10 seconds before LMCE sends the IR codes to change inputs.  How can I change this delay?
