I was wondering if there were any step by step instructions for loading the JavaMO on my new blackberry 8830. If anyone has any information I would be greatful. I have checked the forums and the wiki and found some info but nothing that outlines what I need to do exactly to get it loaded.

Thanks

Dustin

Ok.. Here is an update.... Just in case anyone else has a Blackberry and would like to try this.
I managed to find a pretty nifty little tool that got the JavaMO to load on my Blackberry 8830. It was made by BSCreations http://brandon.berryreview.com/j2a.html this app converts jar files to alx files that are able to be seen by the Blackberry Desktop Manager. Simply called Jar 2 Alx. The best part about it is that it is free. :)

I loaded the jar and jad file and followed the instructions on the wiki for the JavaMO. It is a bit buggy and I am going to play with it some more.  I an able to go into the climate or lights or even the media menu but when I start a movie or actually pic anything it will start but then I get an exception error and JavaMO locks up. If anyone has any tips on getting the JavaMO to work smoothly in general on a non-touch screen phone that would be very helpful. I would also be interested in any bug fixes that might be available.
If anyone has any questions about loading the JavaMO on a Blackberry and using it feel free to ask. I would be more then happy to share my experience if it helps.

i have no time for the javamo at the moment. This was mostly a proof of concept. We need a java girl or guy to jump on this..
the code is here: http://svn.linuxmce.org/svn/people/hari/javamo/
