Need Help! Avermedia HC80

I have a fujitsu laptop (dual core 2.2ghz, 4gig ram, ati 2600 hd w 256 ram) that came with a windows media center edition certified remote control along with the avermedia hc 80 cardbus tv tuner card. (same as the avermedia hc81/82). My issue is that I cannot get the avermedia to be recognized at all by lmce. Does anyone have a way to make that tv tuner card work? If not, which is a good tv tuner to get that will be as painless as possible? Thanks in advance. Luis

look at the hdhomerun. a lot of people use it and they say it works great.
