How to setup UIRT to control unknown protocol device ?
« on: March 16, 2008, 11:23:21 am »
Hi,

I've got USB UIRT and would like to control some cheap amplifier, whose protocol isn't in one of predefined ir command sets...

Where can I find more info on setting up UIRT to control some device with IR learning ?

Thanks in advance,

regards,

Bulek.

If it's not one of the predefined command sets, make a new one.

At this point, you can pick command groups that your amplifier supports, and go through each one, New Code and Learn the code once it brings up a box asking for it. Press the corresponding button on the remote, and t will say, IR code Learned. After this be sure to test each code to make sure it's okay.

Once this is completed, save the template, and it should be ready for use. Nothing to it.
