Heatsink advice
« on: March 13, 2008, 12:07:32 am »
I am looking for a heatsink that is as quiet as possible (not a watercooler)
Up to 12cm high for my new HTPC under construction.
I found:
- Scythe Mini Ninja CPU Cooler
- Arctic Cooling Freezer 64

Can anyone advise me on a good heatsink?
Thanks

i find the Zalman CNPS8000 works fantastically...it is totally silent at its lower speed but keeps my cpu temp to around 35-40 degrees.  Its around 6cm high and so fits most low profile cases... see link below

I have it running in two mds using the Antec NSK2480 case and i couldnt be happier with it.  In the uk cost around £25 ( $50)
