Install to /dev/sda2 ?

Hi,

i want to try LinuxMCE, but have a problem with installation. I have my Ubuntu on /dev/sda and need to install LinuxMCE to /dev/sda2 which ist my partition for experiments. :) I trying install from dvd and the installer show me just 1 disk (thats ok, but i need specify partion)..

Hi,

Currently the DVD installer can only install to a physical drive... and will overwrite all data on that drive. To do what you require you need to download the CD installer iso's... but the downside is that the installation process is very long indeed from the CD's!

I was affraid of that, thank you very much. Is it bug or future of DVD installation..? :)

I like to read manuals, but i found this very unlogical..  :P
