I have released the BETA Insteon PLM Driver.

This driver is written entirely in Ruby, and easily added to your system.

Hey ddamron,
first off, thanks for not only the development, but for the wiki you've drawn up to go through it.

I've been going through it step by step as I'm setting it up in my own house.  I had a couple of questions/clarifications that I'm hoping you can make for me.

Setting up the Generic Serial Device

        * on the top, select Wizard, Devices, Generic Serial Devices. You should now see the InsteonPLM device.
        * select the room it's in.
        * in the Controlled By box, select CORE
        * select Update (at the bottom)
        * Now, in the COM PORT ON PC, you can select the com port it's on.
        * select Update (at the bottom)

I didn't understand the second to last line.  I didn't see a selection for this item in 0710b3.  Is that a vital portion?

Also, the follow log for the device.  My log files for devices have never worked... on anything.  Instead I get "Log not found: /var/log/pluto/68_Generic_Serial_Device.log" for anyone, how can I get those working.

Never mind that question.  Apparently I didn't refresh something that i was suppose to? Because the menu item is now there.
