No video on my TV after installation

Installed Linux MCE using the quick install DVD.
The system boots into the AV wizard and asks me to select the video output.
At this time I have an LCD monitor connected to the vga port and my TV to the DV port on the Nvidia 660 GT card.
When I select DV/HDMI and hit enter the setup is now on my TV, great!
Next I go through the sound setup, answer no to hearing dolby and no to DTS and the screen never changes after that even though I figured out the setup does actually continue to run in the background if I ht enter to confirm my settings even though I can't actually see that screen.   
After this I never have a picture again on either the monitor or the TV.
If I do the same setup and never involve the TV it does complete and I do see linux mce load up.
From this point I can't get the TV to work. 
I am new to this and am not sure where to start.  Installing the 704 version of linux mce quick install dvd.
Please help.
