Is there a way instread of hardlink with " ln to /somevideofile/play.dvd to /somevideofile/play.iso to play iso files because i have some xbox's type 1 that plays every extension exept .dvd so i have to ln them now to iso but my diskspace is getting very low this way.

Make sure you are using the '-s' flag when you do the ln. It shouldn't be using hardly any extra disk space for the link then.

uhm...

hard links take up less space than soft links, they use the same inodes!

a symbolic link takes up a teeny bit of space, because it's an indirect pointer.

See my post earlier in this thread... under lmce-0710 .iso will be a supported file type for playback so you will not need to make symbolic links.

Actually, what I think Hagen was talking about was your converting totallymaxed's "at least 7 days" into "as little as 7 days". Which is correct to the letter of totallymaxed's statement, but is rather naively optimistic about the spirit.

Though I do like the idea that we're talking about "close to a week", rather than "close to a month", though there's no way (for anyone) to tell the difference until it's over. Especially since a 2-week duration puts the release sometime around "the weekend right before Christmas", which probably equals "mid January".

Indeed, sorry, it was not my intention to actually point the finger, just merely remembering the early days of WWIIonline when CRS early learned to utter the word 'soon'^TM instead of giving any hints whatsoever about an actual release date  because the very next post (not yours) would then have it be less than seven days, and then it suddenly became 'tomorrow' and all rejoiced... eh... not.
