more Myth issues cannot view recorded media

Ok so I can watch TV and all outside of LMCE (see http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=2954.0) but for some reason when I attempt to record anything it seems that the TV show records but doesn't save any data. So, when I go to watch the recorded media later there is nothing to watch. Is there a read and write permission I need to set for a directory when recording TV outside of LMCE?

Where are the shows being stored when a recording is made outside lmce? Where are they being stored inside lmce?... I assume in /home/public/data/videos/TV_Shows_NN

I believe the files are being stored in /home/public/data/videos/TV_Shows_NN insde LMCE and outside LMCE. Perhaps I just need to change the read and write permisions for that directory so that the folder can be writen to outside LMCE.

The permissions should be correct... but does Myth store recordings in the lmce directory structure if you use it from kde? I am not sure as I don't use Myth but that is worth checking.

Try running the mythfrontend from a text terminal, that might show you some useful error messages.
