I see it now, that's a very old thread by 2 people (labeled as "MCE Mentor" and "MCE Specialist" ) of which only one hardly even tried lmce.  Doesn't really surprise me at all considering it's on a "Vista & XP Media Support Centre" forum.

Fortunately for them, nobody seems to have any trouble whatsoever setting up windows MCE: http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/community/vista-media-center-software/

apparently you havent looked anywhere else. theres tons of worse things being said. this guy even says

its just a brief forum post. theres a ton of blogs that have much worse to say. i cant really see where he talks out of his ass....he doesnt really even say anything....the one guy used version 1.0 too....so who cares...they fixed a lot of the stuff that guy was whining about. itll take time ....its got more potential/current features than XP/Vista MCE has/will ever bother to implement....other than 3rd party add in software.

ha...thats a good one Zaerc...i had to laugh when i saw "green screen of death". the fanboys like to paint MS MCE as some bulletproof setup....hardly the case by the looks of it.
