hi,

is it possible to use a thin client device boot up as a media director?

i have a device whch gives me audio and video in the size i want, can this be done??

Yes, although if it's not a 'normal' pc that supports the 686 instruction set, a different kernel/boot image is required.  We are working on a boot image now for the Tranquil PC T3 (about $290 thin client), which uses the 586 instruction set.  Some users are working on an XBox port.  And in the future we're looking at a port for the Roku HD1000.  What type of thin client do you have?

The Hauppauge MediaMVP and the PRISMIQ MediaPlayer both run embedded linux and look like they could become great low cost MD's.
