Hello

How can i customize the UI of my hybridcore so that it only shows the Icons for Media ?
Is it possible to deactivate the server-Components like asterisk ? My machine is equipped only with 256 MB Ram and the Desktop is veryy slow

There is no simple way to do UI customisation in UI1 or UI2 at the moment or to omit server components (it would be possible to edit the lmce launch scripts that launch the various components I guess or more modify there init.d scripts)... get more RAM is a suggestion worth considering. 512mb on MD's and 1gb on Core/Hybrids is what we configure.

If you don't need anything except media play-back why do not use MythTV or VDR - http://smart-home-blog.com/archives/743? VDR can work fine with 128Mb :)
