Subtitles
« on: May 02, 2007, 09:19:45 pm »
Hi.
Having problems getting subtitles to work. Have some divx-files and srt-files(whit the same name and they are also in the same folder as the video-files. How do i make xine pick them up? have tried to enable it in /etc/pluto/xine.conf. (gui.subtitle_autoload:1)

Have also tried to write a path to subtitles in: Core/Generic PC as MD/Onscreen Orbiter/Xine Player/Device Data, Subtitles.

unfortunately for you, xine from linuxmce does not have support for this kind of subtitles. but maybe, if you grab the sources from svn you can compile them with subtitle support.

i spoke with one of the developers and he told me that, for now, the subtitles for .avi files are not included in xine of linuxmce.
