Default Firewall settings
« on: April 14, 2007, 05:07:13 am »
I very stupidly removed all the firewall settings while experimenting, and as there's no 'reset to default' button (or is there? That'd be *VERY* handy...), I can't re-instate them... If anyone could list what the default firewall rules are, I'd really appreciate it.

I have a single machine - at the moment, I've just added ports 1-65535, but I'd rather have the default settings plus port 139 (for samba shares).

from what i know (i don't have a linuxmce machine near me right now) the firewall rules are not blocking anything, so I don't see any reason to be worried. but, i don't understand what you are trying to do with port 139.

So, no one can go to the firewall rules screen and just copy down what it says? Would be appreciated...
