Would it be possible to add one "media" type such as internet radios (in addition to TV, Video, Audio, ...).

quite a few radio are broadcasting on the internet. How can we get these audio stream to the "Media Directors".

You can use Squeezebox for that. You should connect it to your internal network and your core will detect it (assuming it has DHCP enabled). Only make sure to put it in a separate room in LinuxMCE, as you do for every other media director.

I understand, but what need would I have to add one more equipement in my home setup when any PC out there (including the core) should be able to stream internet radio.

What would be the added benefit of Squeezebox compared to having a list of my favorite radio somewhere in the media menu of all the "directors" in my house? Do I miss something?

Beside Squeezebox is not distributed in France (or so it seems).

Nice 8) Any chance this feature appear in version 7.10?

I totally agree with jcd that it would not need any extra hardware since any web-browsers already play radio perfectly. I have had my favorite radiostation, www.p4.no, running at work for years now. Since I'm about to install a LinuxMCE system at home these days, the P4-radio would be very nice...

Please refer to this wiki article, maybe this workaround will be OK for you currently:
