Dianemo X86/ARM - Wordpress Integration?
« on: July 08, 2015, 04:41:03 pm »
We are currently exploring integration of the Athena UI with Wordpress. This would likely take the form of plugins/widgets that could be drag/dropped into a WP page, combined with other plugins etc and be used to quickly build Dianemo Athena UI's. We would also likely provide documentation and integration at the code level so that any Wordpress developer could develop deeper code level integration and develop their own Plugins & widgets too.

The idea currently would be to make our Wordpress plugins and docs freely available to anyone who wants them.

The primary objective is to make building HTML5 Athena UI's as accessible and easy to build as we possibly can. This is in alignment with the main objectives of the Athena UI too.

I've passed this idea by some Wordpress developer friends and I received a very positive reaction. If you are a Wordpress site builder, have an interest or understanding of Wordpress plugins (ie you have created them), or you simply have experience with Wordpress i'd be pleased to get your feedback on the above here in this thread.

Thanks

Andy

Think of Wordpress as another environment to build Athena UI's in - its not a replacement for Athena/Angular at all. We hope that Wordpress support will over time make it easier for everyone to develop there own custom UI's for Dianemo.
