Yes and I'm using an old PS1 controller. Mostly NES games, works great!

Did the cover art properly acquire?

Does bookmarks work correctly? (from the bookmarks menu; from the playlist itself; from the media file view?)

Does recording work?

Do the games move well between media directors?

PS1 got removed, as there still needs to be a LOT of integration work done.

Particularly in regards to:

* Multiple discs
* Memory card support
* Whether PCSXR or MESS can adequately handle the job.

I was using PCSXR for a while, but now that I have a NUC in the den, the Intel chip in the NUC doesn't work with PCSXR, very well...

There are a lot of weird things to work out, because when you get into systems that need GPU accelleration, the # of configurable parameters to make things just work on every piece of hardware just increased by several orders of magnitude...

but it will get worked out at some point, unless somebody actually wants to dig into the code and help :)

Thanks  for the feedback Thom.

one question, I've uploaded games to the sms - SEGA Master System folder and when trying to play them i get the follow error  the game you  were trying to play crashed .

Sonic the Hedgehog 2  from coolrom.com

super mario bros works  just fine under the folder  nes and the MAME folder works grand and gets cover art for ridge racer .

is this a common error ?

please advise

Do you have a MESS BIOS for SMS? This is required. There is also the difference between sms and smspal, both of which need their respective MESS BIOSes.

These zip files need to be copied into the same folder as the sms roms. I will be changing this to a dedicated folder to hold all the BIOS roms, but haven't done so, yet. This will coincide with the move from MAME/MESS to UME.

Still using the game player daily.  Mostly SMS titles but guests use all the various systems from time to time.  Cover art works fine.  I've added art to the systems themselves which gives a really cool look when GAMES is first selected.  It reminds me of my old game hardware collection.

I never did figure out the issue I had with my various gamepads and had to bandaid the problem by removing orbiter control.

Gamepad functions and navigates the onscreen orbiter
Game is selected.
Gamepad functions as a game controller but does not cease navigating the onscreen orbiter
button __  makes onscreen character jump, but also brings up the onscreen orbiter overlay.  possibly closing the game out or opening submenus during gameplay.

Bandaid was removing the mapped orbiter control buttons in web-admin.  I then use the game system options menu to map system control only.

I made a wiki!  Click here to check out my system.

I use it occasionally.  Mostly to play Tank on Ataria 2600 with my wife.

I played Frogger last night using my Gyration remote. I had my motherboard burn out and just got everything running again and had to play some games to celebrate. It all came together so very well. I'm still a few steps short of being done but almost there!

Also, about to build my own arcade joystick for this as a nice little project. Check this out for an idea for anyone who wants to build their own joystick:
