Wii Remote Control in 1004
« on: March 18, 2013, 02:30:06 pm »
I recently attempted to setup a Wii remote. I'm able to see it connected by bluetooth within the KDE desktop but can't get it working as an input device for the UI.

It detects it as a phone. (ignored that part)
I ran through the steps in the wiki, maybe it is outdated? or i missed something..

Is there any change that applies to 1004 now? Any progress on bluetooth dongle support for the wii mote?

Thanks!

proper Wii Remote support will take some overhauling of the Bluetooth_Dongle device (which is right now an Orbiter subclass), it needs to be generalized, and to support more device types....

Right now, the "Wii Remote" documentation on the wiki, is a hack, and can't adjust to account for the different screens in the UI.

I describe some of the problems and issues that need to be resolved, here:
