Phones do not register anymore
« on: February 27, 2013, 08:43:36 pm »
I just encountered a problem with my Gigaset 610ip. I have two handsets of this model and none of them is currently registering. I even went to delete them from the webadmin, reload router, re-add them ( as generec sip-phone, as I have always done before), but for the live of me, they won't register. The webadmin of the gigaset always shows the status of those phones as "registration failed".

okay....I get one step further...it seems after connecting to asterisk ( after having the server rebooted) and doing a "core reload now", the phones finally registered. I can place outgoing calls, but for incoming I get only a busy signal so far.

Okay, that didn't stick...registration is gone again. Btw...intercom is also not working.
So does anyone else see this, or am I the only lucky one?

hmm... this morning I did another core reload with asterisk and this time it seems to stay alive. However I still have only outgoing calls and no incoming.
I have my asterisk registered as a line with my fritzbox. In the log of said fritzbox I find the incoming call being declined. I have another phone running parallel to asterisk and that is working.

Sorry I am unable to assist as I have yet to get a phone working with asterisk, including orbiter imbedded phones.  I appreciate your post though and as you work on this please continue to update as your solution may also benefit other users like me.
