Dianemo - PPPOE missing in webadmin
« on: January 19, 2013, 05:22:56 pm »
10.04 has PPPOE built in to the network config page of WEB admin per the Wiki.  I am on Dianemo and do not see the option.

In Dianemo do I follow the prior method?

I am using FIOS and PPPOE is used.  I do not want the WAN side of my core to have a private address so I will put the FIOS router behind the core to serve the guide data to the STBs via coax

afaik it is a LinuxMCE exclusive... but Dianemo is of course free to copy over our implementation, if they like it.

Wow  :-\  Thanks Posde

Wonder if all Dianemo users locked on PPPOE are limited to installing behind a router.  I will look if I can connect the old way if everything is there.
