Hi,

I would like to knew if it is possible to set only one device (digital projector), which will work through nettop's hdmi. The idea is that when you connect a device other device than the set one it will not work.

It is possible?

I will be grateful for your help.

I need to limit number of working devices via hdmi just to the choosen one.

Any other suggestions? :)

Why do you think HDMI-CEC is not the way to go. It is not plug and play, but I am pretty sure, one can utilize the HDMI-CEC to turn-off whatever HDMI device is on the bus that does not belong there.

As far as i am aware there are no features in CEC that will allow you to 'exclude' or bar a valid HDMI device from the bus. HDCP obviously only allows devices on the bus with valid keys display certain content... but all devices you might want to connect will likely have valid keys I would imagine so I can't see there is any mileage in HDCP either.

Interesting requirement though!

All the best

Andrew,

the idea with CEC is, that you listen on the bus, and send an off command to every device that you do not want.
