Any cause for alarm? Happens whenever I update/upgrade the core.

how long has it been since you updated prior to this?
can anyone else reproduce this error?
the postinst script in svn would only be able to produce that error with line 155, and only if some other rather serious things when wrong.

Latest upgrade was 29th May. The upgrade prior to this was in the second half of April sometime.

However, I believe I have always had this error, except maybe after the very first update/upgrade, straight after installation (snapshot 23796, was bang up to date at the time).

I can't say for certain whether it's even causing any problems. One really annoying problem that I have is that my N800 orbiter will most of the time crap out when, and only when, I select TV. No other orbiter does this (my only other orbiters are Android touch orbiters or web orbiters). Could it be related? I returned to a backup image I made on 12th April specifically to find out where the problem was, and naturally I upgraded straight away because I was after new features, and still the orbiter exhibited this strange behavior. Perhaps I should go back to this image and not upgrade?

Ok, so we came to the conclusion that the problem was down to me chattr +i-ing /etc/apache2/sites-available/pluto - yes, stupid I know.

So, I restored my system to a time way before I did this silly thing, updated/upgraded... and exactly the same result

Any other ideas, or shall I just do a complete reinstall?

put it that way: You seem to be the only one who experiences this issue. If it is not too much of an effort, I'd do a new install, and see if that works better. A new snapshot should be available by Tuesday morning CEST

I hear you. I just like to at least try and get to the bottom of these things. But as you say, I seem to be the only one affected.

I'll reinstall. I COULD do without the hassle, of course, but I can't grumble Will wait for the new snapshot and report back with my findings.

Just upgraded my 1004 system for the first time, and I got exactly the same thing as before with 810.
