Advanced Menu - Add Keyboard/Mouse Button

I was looking on the Advanced Menu via the Orbiter UI, and I noticed there is a button called Add Keyboard/Mouse.  Clicking on it doesn't seem to do anything.  Anyone know what that button does or is supposed to do?

This was a button that was used long ago for the special gyration remotes (that Fiire eventually used) while they were in development. This button should be removed, but it hasn't been a very high priority.
