NP, I think seeing the money even though the quality is not superb I will order 2 more in a couple of weeks. Hopefully somebody with Android knowlegde will write an orbiter app to make things complete.

Well you might want to look at the Touch Orbiter wiki page... http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Touch_Orbiter_-_for_the_CUWIN3500_in-wall_Touch_Panel. We have someone working on a port of this code to iPhone/iPod touch/iPad... maybe you could try a port to Android :-)

Both Web Orbiter and Touch Orbiter are based on the same basic architecture... the UI device runs a 'thin' app that is simple to implement and the 'heavy lifting' is done at the Core by the proxy_orbiter. In the case of Web Orbiter 2.0 the 'thin' client side app is written in Javascript and hosted by a Web Browser and in Touch Orbiter the 'thin' client side app is written in C++ and does not need a web browser. In both cases an instance of proxy_orbiter is running on the Core abstracting all of the complexity of the Orbiter from the development needed on the target device.

I will have a look at Android, but programming is not really my game. I have see the CU3500 but still it is about 3 times the price of this piece of equipment, though this can't be wall fitted unless doing a bit of work.

Sure... I was not suggesting the CUWIN3500 is a device you should look at... but the reference implementation source code is there to inspire others here in the forum to use it as a basis to build version for other devices... like M002 ;-)
