Low consumption PC
« on: July 26, 2010, 11:44:22 am »
hello,

atom seems good for consumption. Interesting for a pc working all day long.

Have you already tried Atom D510 with linuxmce ?

SSD seems too a good solution for low consumption. Maybe a Intel X25-V is enough ?

It seems lots of Atom motherboards have only PCIe 1x, but PCIe 16x could be intersting for additionnal card (tuner, sound..)

exemple :
Zotac motherboard exists with PCIe 16x

Asrock A330ION

EDIT : it seems in fact that the speed is limited to 1x !  (250 MB/s)

This section is really for people who have something to sell or for those who wish to purchase something. Your posts would probably be better posted to the 'Users' section of the forum.

All the best

Andrew

ps. Both the D510 and the Asrock 330 are well known here...search the threads for them.

You should search from the overview of the forums, i.e. click on the http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php and start the search from there.
