None of these problems *appear* to be system problems with LMCE. I (and none of the devs) are experiencing issues like this. Ususally this is down to NIC problems or other network problems (cabling, switches)... J.
If it is related to my hardware.... then it's a specific combination of 12.04 because I switch back to 10.04 (just boot a different HDD in the exact same equipment and it's hunky dory.
