I'm not using it to monitor LMCE but I am using it to monitor a wide range of hosts, services, etc.  If you combine Nagios with NagVis it's a really sweet deal...not too hard to configure either.

Users / Re: MySQL Database broken - how can I fix it ?
« on: June 09, 2009, 08:48:06 pm »
I used SQLCVS revert the other day on 710 to restore a corrupted template...and it worked great...but I didn't have a lot to lose because my Core wasn't highly customized.  I did it several times and it worked fine.  Go to the WebAdmin interface, Advanced, SQLCVS, Diff.  YMMV...back up your data.

You need to change the filename to match the exact name of the file you downloaded...not what you show...that's generic name.

Also, did you download the file from NVIDIA's Web site to a location where you could locate it?

wget http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/<version>/NVIDIA-Linux-x86-<version>-pkg1.run

If you did, then you'll go into Recovery Mode, go to that directory where you downloaded it, then type sh + *exact filename*...you might have to type it like this:

sudo ./sh filenameyoudownloaded

Let us know if that works...

My sound volume is all jacked up now...is there a way to revert to the old template?  I see how to do it through sqlcvs, but I'm not sure which tables to revert, or should I wait until 810?

Thanks,
UNi

It's fixed now...I was able to roll it back.

I've lost my ability to control the volume using my Gyration remote for my Denon AVR-2307CI, using this template.  It worked for a while.  Now I get these messages:

Error while calling method: Cannot call class method: cmd_282
error: undefined method `switchInput' for #, line: 95

How can I diagnose what might be wrong?  The receiver does play the sound...just cannot control the sound with my remote, when before I could.   CMD_282 equates to my Receiver Input that I told it to use.

Not sure if it's a Gyration issue or some other issue...

+++++ Update

I didn't have any values in the Volume Up / Volume Down Ruby Codes boxes #90 and #89 fields...I also seem to be missing the following from your Template.

#350
#313

Do you know why that would be?

21
I used your template and it seemed to fix the issue also that when I went to Power, and then Off, that my amplifier didn't try to turn itself right back on again...using 710.

Thanks!

Users / Re: ZWave: Best inclusion remote?

You need the inclusion remote or the software that allows you to register devices.  Check wiki.

Installation issues / Re: AVWizard Issues
« on: April 27, 2009, 08:01:55 pm »
If you install an Orbiter, such as the Windows Orbiter, you can restart the AV Wizard from within it (think it's under "Advanced")...

I don't have my Denon receiver connected yet but I wanted to set up the template to get it ready for the install.  When I go into "edit IR codes", it says "ERROR  Cannot retrieve IR codes", then I click retry and this appears: Device template # 0 was not found

Is this because it can't pull the IR codes off the Denon?

Just want to be sure nothing's broken here...

Installation issues / How to connect Vizio L32 to Core
« on: April 21, 2009, 08:18:57 pm »
I've got my Denon receiver now with RS232 port and I know how that connects to the Core, but how do I get my LCD TV to connect?  I'm running an HDMI cable for the video already so there are no more HDMI ports.  It does not have an RS232 input.  I do have an S/PDIF out port on my mobo and all the other standard connection on the LCD TV, just not RS232.

Anyone clarify this?

Thanks,
UNi

I put in an older Nvidia card that I had and Xorg seems to behave.

My box has been stable, but during video playback last night the screen froze (audio continued) and the Xorg and OrbiterGL processes were jumping up to 90% + CPU utilization, so I rebooted.  This is what I get in the logs:

I'm running DVD 710 and have a BFG GeForce 7300GS OC video card with newest NV drivers.  Anyone know how to resolve this?

What IP cameras did you go with...hopefully you searched the wiki first?  Linksys Wireless-G Internet Video Camera WVC54GCA was Plug-n-Play and sell on ebay for cheap though I got mine at Frys.
