Hello Dennis,

Iptables is setup as the lmce-firewall write the iptables rules on the background.
Bridging is so far the easyest way to do this, else you need to create forward rules and change a lot of configuration files,
i'm not shure of everything will get to work that way.

there seems to be a problem with the nfs config i'm not shure where this problem is.
I check here to be shure i'm  not having this issue.
Your configuration so far seems right.

Hello Dennis,

it isn't yet supported to bridge but to  help you further to test this.
I need some information from you.
- /etc/network/interfaces
- /etc/default/isc-dhcp-server
- iptables -vnL

hcaine How many interfaces dor you have on the core including wireless interfaces?
there is a third network interface unconfigured on the db this one "|,, |" and this card is unconfigured set on /etc/network/interfaces
this one:

# ---   ---
iface  inet static
  address
        netmask
  pre-up sysctl -q -e -w  net.ipv6.conf..disable_ipv6=0
        # DNS Settings for Internal Net
        dns-nameservers
        dns-search LinuxMCE

I'm working on multiple network interfaces configuration with wireless cards as well,
i'm going to search where the third card what is unconfigured comes from.

Armor Gnome,

we build the /etc/network/interfaces file our self.
the script that builds the file is /usr/pluto/bin/Network_Setup.sh
on this file is the magic to build the network interfaces file.

Hello Armor Gnome,

Multiple networkcards are not good integrated at the moment i'm working to add it, and there are some bugs yes.
i have a core with four network cards and one of them is a wifi card with option to set mastermode and there for can be used as AP what i'm integrating as well.
i'm working to set the wifi card as network client as well and make it possible to add the core to an existing wifi network as well.
or for some s,aller thing ad-hoc will be worked out as well, maybe that is usefull later to connect a wireless printer ad-hoc to the core and use cups to send printer data to the printer, and set users that can use hat printer and others can't.

You can ask me on dev channel or here for what you need and i'm glad to get you the data you need.

Cheers

Govo,

For the firewall get the last update by "apt-get update && apt-get upgrade" and it will fix your problem.

Installation issues / Re: Owncloud loses LMCE configuration.
« on: July 13, 2015, 01:39:22 pm »
Hello Govo,

yes you understand Polly good.
we have build the extensions for lmce_owncloud for version 8.0, and version 8.1has again changes to use the owncloud api where as the lmce extensions not use and there for are not working correctly and on a downgrade they should work. If not then let one of us know.

thanks for testing and using it.
