I finally did it!! But LinuxMce doesn't start correctly...

After the 1st installation (terminated with #### Package pluto-orbiter failed) I tried one more time (without reinstalling Edgy).

I had to access ubuntu as root and make "apt-get remove --purge vim-common ; apt-get install vim
" and "sudo rm /usr/pluto/orbiter/floorplans".
Then I started the setup. It was all ok (don't know why) during the long installation, but at 1st linuxmce boot it freezes on a grey screen.

Installation issues / Installation resets my DNS
« on: April 02, 2007, 04:51:51 pm »
Hi.

I've noticed that LinuxMce setup always resets my DNS (I have an ethernet connection, and I use a Netgear wgt624).
So I've to open "Networking" and edit dns during the installation.

D'u know a solution?

some packages could not be installed. this may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

sincce you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is ismply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
the following information may help to resolve the situation:

the following packages have unmet dependencies:
