I reinstalled the core to 8.10.
Ran diskless_createtbz.sh
When I boot from the diskless media director, get the following error:

Could not find kernel image: 42/vmlinuz

This was the device number it had with the previous install.

The media director does not appear to be going out and registering as a new device to the core.

Thanks

Users / Diskless Media Director Low Volume - SOLVED
January 21, 2011, 05:00:04 AM
The analog output from my diskless media director is connected to the stereo input of the tv.
The TV volume is set to maximum in order to barely hear the video sound.

During AV Setup, I turned the volume setting to 100.  (I'm not sure where to verify this setting on the media director.)

As alsamixer works great for the core, it doesn't appear to work for the diskless media director.
"alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device"

Thx

Users / MythTv Program TV Titles
January 21, 2011, 04:54:39 AM
After updating/upgrading my core...

MythTv recorded programs are now stored by their file name (1012_201101200830) instead of by program name.

UserProgram1 still lists :/usr/pluto/bin/SaveMythRecording.sh %CHANID% %STARTTIME% "%DIR%

Not sure what has died/changed.

Thanks
