Users / Unable to get Telecom working.

I recently configured a "Linksys SPA3102" to connect to asterisk.  I also configured LMCE to utilize my Gizmo5 as my provider.  My "Linksys SPA3102" reports registered, as does LMCE to Gizmo5.  However, much of the core functionality does not seem to be working.  All calls in to the system have been going directly to the default voice mail.  Local extension do not seem to be able to call each other, and outbound calls return "All Circuits are busy."  I'm hoping that there is something simple is missing, but most things in LMCE seem to take unusual lengths to get working.

Users / Yamaha RX-v1600 not being detected.

I have a Yamaha RX-v1600 receiver that was previously being auto detected and controlled by LMCE.  I recently deleted the MD image and rebuilt it fresh.  Now the MD only detects the Serial USB dongle and does not detect the Receiver.  In addition, after detecting the USB serial device and reloading the router, it detects it again and repeats the installation.  Does anyone know what this issue is, or how I can go about fixing it?

Users / Diskless MD, Mythtv frontend fails to start.

Hey, I'm having an issue with the mythtv frontend starting on my diskless media director. When I start the app I get a tan screen background and after a few seconds I get a bar at the bottom with a digital clock on the right hand side.  All the logs in /var/log/pluto for 'spawn*myth*.log' are zero bytes.  The frontend works fine on the core.  The MD only has logs for mythbackend with no real errors in it.  Has anyone seen an issue like this, or is there any other places I can check for logs?

Users / FreePBX 2.2.0beta3

Is there any technical reason that 810 is running FreePBX 2.2.0beta3, or can I upgrade it to the latest?  In addition, is there an easy way to upgrade it?  The FreePBX official webpage states that upgrading through modules is supported online in version 2.3 or higher.  Thanks in advance.

Users / Issues with VDPAU and OpenGL rendering.

I have been running into a couple issues on my Disk less media director.  I can use VDPAU or OpenGL fine on the first boot, but After a reboot no media will play.  After changing the rendering option on the admin page it starts working again.  This, ofcourse, is a major annoyance.  Has anyone seen this issue before or have any ideas how it could be fixed?

Users / 810 Beta2 Mythtv MD Frontend hang.

I'm having an issue with watching mythtv on a media director.  On the Core/hybrid system TV tunes fine and can be watched normally.  However, on my network booted media director the TV will play only the channel it is tuned too on start.  When you attempt to change channels mythtv hangs and will not do anything until you quit out.  The frontend log doesn't seem to be catching anything.  I'm not seeing anything out of place in the backend log.  The frontend is set to stream from the backend.  I have try with the setting off and on.  If it is off mythtv fails to successfully start.  Has anyone seen anything like this?

UPnP IGN would help for Xbox or PC Gaming from behind the firewall.  MiniUPnP can provide this functionality if integrated into the LinuxMCE firewall.  I am not in a position to preform this, but I thought someone might take an interest.

I noticed that the download on the webpage is for the 810 beta.  I know we're all excited about it, I've been playing with it too.  However, it is beta and I know we've all run into so semi-show stopping bugs... well for the un-initiated that is.  We should probably get a link up there for the 710 stable version.  Just a thought.

Users / Receiver: Motorola 5x100w

Has anyone worked with or have any insight on the Motorola 5x100w Receiver?  It has an RS232 and is very inexpensive.  Unfortunately, going over the user manual and looking online I saw next to nothing regarding it's rs232 data port.  However, this is my first time looking at this sort of thing so I may be looking in the wrong places.

Feature requests & roadmap / Alternate PXE boot images.

I use other windows and linux systems on my linuxmce network.  Linuxmce monopolizes DHCP and PXE boot functions.  I would like the ability to use imaged backups from these systems using something like Clonezilla.  The way I envision doing this would be to utilize the PXE boot setup to boot any system I want to backup or restore with a Clonezilla image.  Maybe something in the admin webpage that allow you to select a system and specify a image to boot too.  This would have other applications like remote deploying or the like.

Does anyone else see this as a valuable feature or utility?

I use my cell phone entirely for phone communication, however, at my home I get fairly low reception.  There are, ofcourse, a few places in my home where my phone gets moderate to good reception.  What would be nice would be the ability to use the Bluetooth infrastructure of LinuxMCE as a bluetooth headset allowing calls to be received from the phone and answered via LinuxMCE anywhere in the house. 

Even if reception was not a factor this would still be a useful feature as it could allow someone to answer there phone in an easier fashion.

It would be nice to get support for IPV6 in the firewall setup.  In the not too distant future this will be the standard and the IPv6 Infrastructure is nearing maturity.  It be useful to start having this implemented.

Feature requests & roadmap / RAID Alerting

I would have expected this to be addressed earlier but having looked through the posts it seems that all there is no RAID Alerting within LinuxMCE.  I believe it is very important to have reporting for RAID failures added to LinuxMCE so that failures can be addressed before they become a serious issue.  A simple E-mail notification would address this.  Is there any way would could get this incorporated in the not too distant future?

Users / Gyration Remote GYR3101US issues

I have setup this remote using the following KB:

However, I am still having a bit of an issue.  It seems that the xmodmap program still isn't starting up automatically.  I have added the xmodmap start up command to lmce_launch_manager.sh script, but to get the remote to work with mythtv or even xine I have to start up the KDE desktop and run it from a terminal window. 

I have tried adding it to rc.local as well as to one of the other X start up scripts in the pluto chain, but still no luck.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
