ok i got it on my own, i selected the basic interface. How do i test for OpenGL and XDamage to see if i can run the medium?

another thing, when i launch KDE it tells me there is a distro upgrade for kubunto 9.03 or something should i upgrade kubuntu first?

I realize they are in italian but under the column "specifiche tecniche" everything you need is in english

I've installed everything, i reboot i get all the "Starting core services" installing this and that and then i get starting mce ecc... the i get black screen with a white mouse pointer and thats it.. I tried running avwizard again and putting something lower but nothing, als if I ctrl+alt+backspace to exit X and logon and then run startx KDE starts normally with no problems

what am i missing??
