ok new plan installed another 10/100 in core going to try again if the md works ill order a gigabit intel to replace it

Just get some intel NICs and be done with it.

just got the mobo and its buit in so unless is a way to make a pci pxe boot the board is just a paper weight. wish knew realtek's were such a nightmare before got it

made a little progress lsmod now showing the r8168 as loaded not the 69 but the core is again dead considering putting on hold and ordering an intel gigabit nic for the core and tackle the MD again after that.

added a 3rd nic and disabled the onboard core nic to fix the issue of this patch breaking the core just hope the other card dose not use that same 69 driver will find out soon enough

no  that just what im working on the fact we are both looking at the same thing makes me sure on the right track in looking ive seen the same the core is loading the r8169 on a lsmod check and looks like the md image needs the r8168 how ever as i run the ./autorun.sh it removes the r8169 and replaces with the r8168 breaking the core and making 192.168.80.1 unreachable im not that great with linux yet so got that far need to look up instructions for manual install so it dose not remove the 69 driver module. lol looks like this is what i get tring to make the entire local network gigabit ><

didnt have any luck with that and realized the core has the exact same built in eth when i got the driver from realtek and installed it broke the core but it must be working as the core has exact same eth
im entering the module name as r8169 i even reversed the setup and made this board the core and the core the MD exact same issue.
going to keep trying see if i can nail the issue.

i have the same model used it on previous install not tried it on 1004 yet ill hook it up later tonight and see if works fine and post setting to see if can find the issue

Edit: just noticed you have 192.168.80.133 as the nas ip thats outside for non lmce devices how is it getting that number do you have the nas set to dhcp and lmce is treating it as a windows device or did you set that as a static on the nas?

diskless is working on my test laptop
starts to PXE boot but seams to halt at   [     0.287129] [<c0104087>] Kernel_thread_helper+0x7 /0x10     before it even anounces to router
any suggestion what i can do to correct this issue or am wasting my time with this board or is it the eth card

Netflix working via Linux is news to me.  Using the computing menu to use it is fine. We do that already for many sites. I will have to try this

all there is atm is firefox.exe and silverlight.exe running threw wine

fairly sure was something else all the md / orbiters are on the internal second nic and plug and play working including the webdt366's
i dumped the drives from the web admin then set them up again and issue went away.
have a smaller drive with the mce install and a second 2tb for file storage must have added the core drive and picked up all the media on it
in short error of dummy behind keyboard. feel free to delete this post as it is not a actual mce issue

 ok i see well that scratches that till they come up with a native netflix application for linux ill have to go with the ps3 ir for now only downside is needs a roku or something for each room

 ummm was fooling around in the webadmin and i somehow fixed it now if only i had any idea what change fixed it was all gone on a reboot best guess is when i when't under core in device tree and picked the drive as disabled. if figure it out will post what did it.

MCE 1004
been messing with wine firefox and silverlight got netflix-desktop working on the kde desktop but not sure how to get it into mce as a button
anyone have any ideas?
crosses fingers hopes someone didn't get this far already and find isn't Possible to get it inside mce and only runs on the desktop.

edit: if Possible under under media under the main scenario but computing will do

have other files showing up in media list
under media mixed in with movie lists are files like black.mpg, air quality.mpg, door.mpg, along with others from setup how do i remove them from the database only not delete them from the disk entirely?
im sure its some button under my nose but im just not seeing it.

Thanks for speedy reply Thom first tried a webpage orbiter aproch with no luck thinks its a limitation of the 5.0's web browser.
