hmm... ok so your point is that other people are paying license to pluto... and... does pluto sell hardware?  Nope. Pluto initially placed the license so that they were not competing with themselves, with software they wrote on hardware solutions they were selling.  Of course they based their software on open source software before them, and combined other open source material to make theirs work... thus making most of their product... open sourced. How come you feel you need to get all rediculously emotional about the mere observation that Pluto IS NOT SELLING HARDWARE? Seriously, I was just musing.  Again I say relax... sorry to offend your sense of propriety, i did not know that offering an opinion was going to get me "Smacked around".  Which is retarded, cause this is the internet.

Was I bitching?  I really didn't think I was.  The entire point of the license was to not compete with Pluto's hardware solution.  Last I checked there were no hardware solutions that Pluto was offering (I know this for a fact, because I actually checked) which eliminates the main point of the license.  So yes I have a valid reason to snicker at the 50 dollar license even though, in the same sentence I stated clearly that it was probably worth it.  I am not bitching, just offering the perspective that the point is dated, and that paying for open source software isnt common.  So calm down.

Lol,  is it me or are both these companies the same exact thing.  And if so, why provide both links, why not just provide the one. Just bugging me now, so I had to get it off my chest :)

P.S.  50 bucks is alot for free community driven software. Not that its not worth it, but still.

Sure thing boss. It would be nice if Pluto changed its site to reflect its change of business and offer licensing straight from his site.

Are there any companies like Fiire still in business?

I just called Pluto Home and some guy just answered the phone with "Hello."  No company name or anything, then he sent me a huge document with the pricing at the end (in a completely different font), 50 bucks for Core, and 20 for each MD. In the end not that bad, still significantly cheaper than anything else with the same features.  However, I seriously doubt this company will ever offer a drop of support.  Especially if Aaron is using his home phone number as his company number...

It looks like fiire is no longer in business... can anyone confirm that?
