Hi Guys,

I am selling some of my HT gear.

First up is a Nokia N810 in MINT condition. Not a single scratch on it. I used it maybe twice since I bought it.

$180 US + shipping

Next we have a WebDT 366 and WebDT 375. Both units work great, power up just fine and have WinCE installed. The 366 comes with the built-in wireless card, carrying case and external battery. The 375 does not have any of that. They both come with power cables, but do not have docks.

I'm selling both together for $200 US + shipping

Next we have a Gyration GYR3101US remote. This is the exact same remote as the Fiire Chief, but without the Fiire Chief firmware. It comes with the dongle.

$80 US + shipping

Next up is a VIA VM7700. I believe this is the same unit that Fiire use to resell as the Fiire Invisible. It's a fanless unit and can be mounted to the back of any VESA compatible LCD. This unit was not purchased through Fiire and does not come with any of their software. Additionaly it does not have a hard drive installed, although it accepts a standard 2.5" laptop drive.

And last we have the HTPC. I am unsure of exactly how functional this is with LinuxMCE. I had 0710 running very well, but some effort was required. I have not tried 810.

This unit does support network boot and will boot UI1. The processor however is 500MHz and it has 1GB of PC2700 DDR RAM.

Boots and runs LinuxMCE UI1. No problem decoding DivX/XVID/MPEG. I mainly used it as a web browser in my kitchen for e-mails and office programs.

This is a WebDT 570LX 17" unit. It is a monitor with PC and speakers integrated into it. Perfect for a low profile computer in the kitchen, bed room, or nook. Great for web browsing, school work or office applications. In perfect working condition. Keyboard, mouse and power supply are included.

This seems to be one of the easiest to use and best supported capture cards for LinuxMCE. It is automatically detected by LinuxMCE.

Sorry, I haven't been around to follow up on this thread. Since the complaint about the price I just assumed nobody was interested. I still have both remotes, including one dongle per remote. Price is still $140US + shipping each. If you are interested please send me a PM.

For the record, I am not related in any way to jgaffney. I have the utmost respect for anyone who contributes to an open source project, and being a developer myself would be more inclined to fix broken code than waste everyone's time crying like a little girl about it.

You can't buy these anymore, unless you buy a Fiire station, so I think the price is fair. They're both under a year old, and have only been used twice.

Hi,

I have Olevia 537H LCD that has a serial port. This TV accepts commands from serial port at 115200 baud rate. However, the initial "power on" command needs to be sent at 110 baud rate. I have verified this functionality using Windows XP.

/usr/pluto/bin/TestSerialPort command does not accept 110 as a baud rate.

Is there any other way to send data on serial port at 110 baud rate ?

The Olevia 537H manual doesn't mention anything about sending the power on command at 110 baud. My Olevia 747i didn't require anything like that. Perhaps you need to play with your codes a little. This model seems to be pretty funny, requiring an initial sequence of characters to negotiate the port speed and then pauses in between ever two bytes.

From what I understand of the manual a basic power on sequence would look like this:

0x02 0x00 0x00 0x13 0x01 0x00 <delay 8ms> 0x50 0xBE <delay 8ms> 0x50 0xEF <delay 8ms> 0x50 0x25 <delay 8ms> 0x50 0x00 <delay 8ms> 0x50 0x29

It may be possible to simply build the updated driver and replace the current module. The "rough draft" instructions for this are also in the Wiki under "Upgrading the Kernel". For a single video driver you are probably better off using this method. Upgrading the whole kernel requires a lot of effort to fix all of the things it breaks.

Keep in mind these instructions are not perfect, a little experience with Linux will be a huge benefit.
